The Garcia Family Foundation (GFF) is an arts, culture and education charity located in the United States. It aims to help make education accessible for all.
For this reason, since many other institutions and universities have scholarship programs that give exemption from tuition fees , the GFF offers a scholarship that covers the cost of living for those who go to the US to attend undergraduate or postgraduate studies. So it's a wonderful program for those who were accepted to study in the US without a full scholarship.

The program aimed at Brazilians will grant eight scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the USA. The benefit amount is $6,000 annually. Scholarships can be renewed for both undergraduate and graduate programs. Those who are not contemplated by the program in this year's edition, can try to compete again next year, in 2024.
The ideal candidate is a Brazilian student who has already been accepted to an American university and is already in the United States. All fields of study are covered by the GFF. Low-income students are particularly encouraged to apply.

Application for the scholarship that covers cost of living in the USA
To apply for the scholarship that covers the cost of living in the USA, it is necessary to fill out the application form available on the website. In it, the candidate must inform his personal data (e-mail, telephone, date of birth, etc.) and details about his studies and training. There is also a section on knowledge of the English language and another on professional experience.

In addition, you will need to answer some questions about your personal interests and your life story - including travel, for example. Finally, the candidate is also asked to write an essay on one of the proposed topics. A photo, curriculum vitae and academic history must be attached to the application.

The deadline for submitting applications for the scholarship that covers living costs in the US for undergraduate and postgraduate students is April 25th.
Once the application has been received, the interested party will be informed whether or not it has been approved for the second phase. Finalists will be announced by May 18th and must submit an application and a video for the second selection phase by June 7th. The names of those selected for the GGF program will be announced by July 5th.
